Wander seeing a doctor tomorrow due to discomfort with his hand/wrist. Ominous.

Looking like hamate injury for Wander. We’ll see the severity in a couple days but this injury never seems trivial. Too bad.

It’s sounding like there’s a good chance Baz might be headed for TJ. This is my fault for putting him and Wander in the thread title. I can only imagine what’s in store for Randy.

Harold Ramirez, who has been a great pickup and is having an outstanding season, gets HBP and is looking at 5-6 weeks out with a fractured thumb.

When it rains, it pours.

He was throwing live BP at the Trop the other day and looked nasty. Easy 97 and snapping off wicked breaking stuff.
He was making some comments about how he felt great but obviously needed to balance his future prospects with coming back to play this season. This deal would seem to make it much more likely we see Glasnow as an old-fashioned Goose Gossage 3 inning closer in the playoffs.

The G-man was a fun dude. They cut a few other random guys off the 40-man today, too—Quinn, Yacobonis and most notably the once promising Brendan McKay. Also, officially declined Kiermaier’s option.
