I’ll say this. I don’t know if it’s because of the LIV drama, Rory and JT playing well, or the venue. Probably a mix of all three. But I am really looking forward to this week.

It's really annoying that NBC's 4K coverage is all of the nobody's. I selected that once things switched over to USA and they never showed Morikawa, Rahm, et. al. Also the commentators are clearly the "C" team. I wonder why they are doing it that way?
They do this all the time. They have their main commentators work shifts throughout the day. The earlier in the day it is, the B or C team will be calling it. When it gets to NBC, the big boys will be on. It's the same as during the Masters when SVP and others work the early shift and Nantz comes in later.

Isn't that shirt just typical current ugly Nike stuff? They have some floral print shirts on their website that look like curtains or wallpaper from some old aunt's house.
YTTV and Direct TV both have coverage in 4K, but I think YTTV is featured holes, not full coverage.

I thought he got the Tiger treatment and mostly got solids. They usually put the ugly crap on Brooks and Tony.
Directv channel 105 holes 11, 12, and 13. Channel 106 featured group which is Rory's.
As someone rooting for Rory (among others), I kinda want him to stumble slightly here so that he doesn't end the day in the lead. (We saw what happened at the PGA when he leads majors these days after the first round...)
Rory gonna go out a win this thing. He's got that bounce in his step and seems to legit pissed off by the LIV stuff.
I don't know, as a Rory Guy, I just don't want him to shoot himself in the foot Thurs/Fri. I hate the routine he's gotten into where he fades down the leaderboard early only to shoot a 30 on the front 9 Sunday, but it's too late.
All I'm saying is that before anyone writes Rory's name on the trophy, let's at least see what he looks like tomorrow. (And very likely Saturday as well.)
By the way, watching Rory and Schauffele finish up on #9, which is the 9th hole of the Primrose Nine, I'm getting massive flashbacks to all of the times my golf team was exiled to play the Primrose twice when we would have loved to play the Big Course (but were told that the members were keeping it for themselves).
