I read it's because they're hosting the Special Olympics and the stadium is booked.
More color here.

Indiana State officials said having multiple large scale events would be too much to handle from a logistics standpoint. There wouldn’t be enough hotel rooms within reasonable distance of the field nor enough workers available for a Super Regional and the Special Olympics.

Huge props to Froggy fans for contributing to the SO. Very classy.

My good friend and work colleagues baby brother was the opener today. Freshman opening and closing today!
Nice! Healy is very good. I don't think my boy has all his stuff these days, but I'll take the win! Let's GO!!

I like the Duke road grays - might get one of those caps.

Wake hits their first pitch out for a home run.

The game was delayed a couple hours for a non game medical event. I haven’t heard why yet, but may have missed it.

"Roo" as the family calls him is a good kid. Really just learning how to pitch but with his size, stuff and his handedness it should be an exciting ride for him.

My sister is in her seat waiting to see her grandson play baseball. How great is that?

I'm afraid game three between a team with four starters against a team with two starters will not end well.

HE's a lefty. He'll definitely be drafted again. Rays probably gonna make him an ace reliever.

Perennial college baseball powerhouse;) Wake Forest punches their ticket to Omaha with a 9 HR - 22-5 blowout of Alabama.
Go Deacs!
Daughter is super excited. First to find out that they are going to Omaha, second, to find out they have a baseball team.

Here is a Washington Post column about LSU's Paul Skenes, who is almost assuredly going to be picked by the Nats with the #2 pick in the draft.

A college ace threw 124 pitches — and MLB teams grimaced

Barry Svrluga points out that nobody in the Nats organization has come close to that number of pitches for several years and he gets some anonymous "I'd be concerned!" quotes from MLB execs.

He also points out that Skenes usually gets 7 days rest between starts, which is in line with good arm care.

Stanford walks it off in a really dumb and embarrassing way.

Disappointing season for the Longhorns. A trend with Pierce. He can go.
Unfortunately it will be just good enough to keep him around for a few more years.

CDC is a bit of a disappointment; I thought his expectations would be higher.
