It's pretty rough. Imagine sitting near them. They need to kick out the person screaming during the Raptors FT ASAP.
Were toying. Lead now down to 5Toronto played like a dead dog in Boston, but are toying with the Bulls. They may put an end to the great Miami Heat and their legendary coach, who is such a plus that he can’t get his team up for a home play-in game against a bad Hawks team

…aaaaaaand the production team has inexplicably decided that this behavior should be highlighted, praised, and encouraged. The screaming is unbearable. I had to mute my TV.
Entertaining game so far. Better quality basketball than I was expecting from these two.
Chicago playing great defense against this flawed Toronto team that desperately needs outside shooting. Pat Bev and Caruso are locking in.Were toying. Lead now down to 5
I get the sense he’s planning to go either wayThere’s no way Nurse survives this.
There’s no way Nurse survives this.
Mailing in both games against Boston (they REALLY needed to win one of those to avoid this very situation) was a pretty big indicator. It'll be Nurse.Masai and Nurse are both near the top of the heap for the NBA commentariat---and one is going to take the fall I assume
Miami was 0-3 against Chicago and 1-3 against Toronto this year. Miami will probably be favored because of home court, but it's a pick'em for me.I feel like both these teams are way better than the Heat.
Even Grant Williams is chuckling somewhere at that line drive.lol that's so fucking embarrassing
I meant the call, but also those fts.Even Grant Williams is chuckling somewhere at that line drive.

I don’t know if the US broadcast mentioned it, but TSN intimated that it was Derozan’s daughter doing the screaming. The screaming is unbearable. I had to mute my TV.

Why can't she do it anymore? I was only half watching and didn't notice it. This is hilarious.Apparently the screamer was DeRozen's daughter...looks like she is 10-12 years old.
Edit: turns 10 in a couple weeks. I hope he tells her she can't do that anymore (if they advance).
OMG....that kid's face made me laugh out loudWhy can't she do it anymore? I was only half watching and didn't notice it. This is hilarious.

If I were him and his teammates I’d tell her to yell louder. This is sport. It’s what fans do.I don’t know if the US broadcast mentioned it, but TSN intimated that it was Derozan’s daughter doing the screaming.
Yeah, the last thing we or the league needs is to adopt the stupidest element of golf.Fans screaming during opponents free throws is not something the league will be regulating. Get a grip guys.
fly her into Milwaukee for GiannisIf I were him and his teammates I’d tell her to yell louder. This is sport. It’s what fans do.
Recruit Duece’s kindergarten class! Fill up the Garden with 8-year olds screaming at the top of their lungs when we are defending. An NBA playoff arena isn’t the place for quiet. My two cents.fly her into Milwaukee for Giannis
Correlation doesn’t equal causation, but 50% from the line? Might be worth looking into.Recruit Duece’s kindergarten class! Fill up the Garden with 8-year olds screaming at the top of their lungs when we are defending.
Is this a joke? People don't scream during foul shots? It’s pretty bad precedence to allow a 10 year old girl to scream at a road venue (or home really). Especially as the stakes rise and fans get more into fanatics. Not only is it annoying as hell, but something bad could ensue.
Yeah, not worried about the players. I can’t imagine having a 10 year old scream bloody murder 50x a game when the Celtics players were about to shoot a free throw. Can you? Fans get thrown out for ruining the fan experience all the time. Would the home crowd allow a 40 year old male to scream bloody murder yells on the road when the home team was shooting free throws in a playoff game? God forbid some overserved fan gets annoyed and tries to quiet the screaming fan on their own. It’s just a situation that doesn’t need to exist. Like shining lasers near players faces. Is this a joke? People don't scream during foul shots?
They're professional basketball players. It's their job to shut out the crowd.
This kind of game reminds me of something I posted a few months ago:That’s quite a choke by Toronto
maybe guard Zach?
He should be better, especially considering that every night he enjoys the same advantage as Jaylen Brown (the opposing team's best wing defender is usually matched up with Derozan/Tatum).I'll never understand why Zach Lavine isn't a better player. He's basically a fully realized version of Gerald Green - 6'5 wing athletic enough to win multiple dunk contests, a good enough outside shooter to participate in multiple 3 point contests, and a pretty solid playmaker for his position (4.5 assists per game in the last 4+ seasons). He's a lousy defender, but there's a limit to how bad an uber athletic wing can be on defense (as opposed to an undersized point guard or a slower center). He should be a top 10 player who can look like the best scorer in the league on any given night, not an occasional all-star who can disappear for long stretches and might not even be a top 30 guy. Maybe he's unlocked if he goes to a better team, but he'll be 28 in March, he's in year 9 and already on his second team. He is who he is.
