Unfortunately, never going to find out if Mac is the guy or not if you give him a bunch of scrubs to throw to, and an offensive line that can't keep him upright.

That said, I'm fine with punting on 2023 to get into the Caleb Williams/Drake Maye sweepstakes in 2024.
bill will never never allow that u are least 8-9 9-8 u better scort those 2026 qb's

Don’t forget Aaron Rodgers’ role in costing the Jets Broderick Jones… Jets swapped 13 for 15 in the trade

I wanted a wr. I've wanted a WR for 5 years now though. If they take Flowers within the next 20 picks or so, fine. He seems great as a player, and if they were going BPA, fine. But aside from Stevenson they don't have a single player/position group that is top 20 or 25 or so.

I don't dislike the pick like I disliked last year's, but at some point Bill needs to get Mac offensive help.

Gonzalez lost a shit ton of guaranteed money tonight, went in assuming he was a near lock top 10 pick. I can understand why he isn't ecstatic being picked 17 but hopefully this gives him the proverbial chip on the shoulder to prove everyone wrong.

This works out perfect.

Best CB in the draft with this pick. Use a 2nd next year and the 4th we got in this trade for Hopkins.

I'm on board.

Bill’s being cheap again. Cost the kid money by trading down! /Mazz

I'm keeping the draft on. Sticking with the draft. If I switch to the Celtics I will either break everything in my living room or have a heart attack.

Lions hope to have drafted Spielman v2.0
1.0 is the special assistant to the owner so it fits

Can’t be unhappy getting the best rated CB in the draft. The division is a murders row of QBs now. A very solid strategy to beef up the secondary, and still have some good chips to maneuver with, and fill some their other needs.

So you had JSN penciled in for 3 TD a game?
Nope, this team has a ton of holes, they aren't going to be competitive, IMO, on either side of the ball with the mettle of the AFC, especially within their own division.

My issue is they have a young QB on a rookie deal that I don't think they have figured out if he's the guy or not. You can't succeed in today's NFL with a young QB that has no help around them. Obviously, he's got time to fill some holes, but I want to know if we have a QB in Mac or we're going to be blowing it up again in 1-2 years and searching for a new one.
