fantastic series. one of the best in memory, any sport. This ending has been fun.
I bet Geno shows his face. Too many of his players are stars on both these teams.Damn…Game 5 in Brooklyn….
That’s deserved. In other news, 1/3 of every HC in the W has now been fired this season. Dallas coach the latest casualty.
It wasn’t a hack but it was a foul. Ionescu backed into the rebounder.never got a clear angle of the foul call
Yeah, I wish we got a better angle on it -- one replay isn't cutting it.It wasn’t a hack but it was a foul. Ionescu backed into the rebounder.
I have no doubt you're right. I just wish (it's more of a commentary on the W tv production) that we had more replays and angles of it. The NBA production would've had 5 replays and at least 3 different angles. I do wonder often though if the reason we don't see as many replays and angles of critical plays is because the W game moves much quicker. They just get in and out of stoppages very efficiently.. which I love; it makes the game more compelling. It looked like she also wrapped her hands around the Lynx player…definitely seemed like a foul.
it was going to be tough to win 2 in Minnesota…should be an epic finish in NY.
Ionescu committed two fouls on that play. Displaced her AND wrapped both hands around her. Very easy call for a ref to make. Only thing hard about it was the timing, making that call in that spot. But clearly a foul.It looked like she also wrapped her hands around the Lynx player…definitely seemed like a foul.

So jealous. are you bringing any young ones? We went to game one of the first round at Barclays and hung out by the tunnel as soon as the doors opened. My daughter got all kinds of autographs. Will be at Game 5 tonight, my first WNBA game
Well you certainly picked a pretty good game to go to!Will be at Game 5 tonight, my first WNBA game
SO fun!! Must be electric in there!!Will be at Game 5 tonight, my first WNBA game
Surprised you're not there tonight in person. Or are you?Libs getting solid minutes from the end of their rotation in Thornton & Sabally.
Haven't seen any calls on either side that I thought were poor, not in a while. The one when Jones was backing down Carleton and they both fell over, was suspect, but it turns out Jones stepped on Carleton's foot. What a game. A little refball at the end here yikes
Fair enough. Just seems like a different whistle in Q4. What a game and seriesHaven't seen any calls on either side that I thought were poor, not in a while. The one when Jones was backing down Carleton and they both fell over, was suspect, but it turns out Jones stepped on Carleton's foot.
Looked clean to me and the ref explanation made no sense (who cares if she wasn't in a legal guarding position? She didn't make contact!).Not sure you can overturn that call.
edit: it did look clean though... hmmmmmmmmmmm
If anything, the optics of the defender's arms arching over Stewie rather than straight up meant they weren't overturning that. Not quite textbook defense. Not sure you can overturn that call.

I feel sad for you that you can't appreciate this.Sorry, this is just painful basketball to watch.
