JJ old fashioned 3 point play & it’s tied.

Like a fight in a Rocky movie, trading haymakers

Shot clock violation on Stewart at 0:18. Inexcusable. Lynx can now hold for last shot.

Stewart looks spent

Ugh. Lynx hold for last shot, miss, and Ionescu fouls. Lynx hit both FT and :02 left.

In other news, 1/3 of every HC in the W has now been fired this season. Dallas coach the latest casualty.

It looked like she also wrapped her hands around the Lynx player…definitely seemed like a foul.

it was going to be tough to win 2 in Minnesota…should be an epic finish in NY.

I have no doubt you're right. I just wish (it's more of a commentary on the W tv production) that we had more replays and angles of it. The NBA production would've had 5 replays and at least 3 different angles. I do wonder often though if the reason we don't see as many replays and angles of critical plays is because the W game moves much quicker. They just get in and out of stoppages very efficiently.. which I love; it makes the game more compelling.

The ref who called the foul I believe was the same ref who called the foul in game one at the end of regulation that netted Stewart her two FTs. Mad respect. The ref has the guts.

Imagine game 5 with the Elam Ending. Clock turned off. It's 72-70. Winner has to reach 84. Go.

Ionescu committed two fouls on that play. Displaced her AND wrapped both hands around her. Very easy call for a ref to make. Only thing hard about it was the timing, making that call in that spot. But clearly a foul.

This has indeed been an epic series. Anyone who loves basketball but says they don’t like women’s basketball should have their head examined. This has been incredible.

I was at the game last night with my kid (8 yo who loves the C’s/“Jaysom” Tatum, just getting into the W this year with this awesome Lynx team).

Electric atmosphere, louder than I’ve ever heard it for a Wolves game.

Really amazing the Liberty has never won a title. Pulling for them to close it out tonight.

Liberty look frazzled. Shot selection is not great, finishing around the rim is ragged.

First half almost over, Lynx by 9.

Stewart & Ionescu a combined 1/12.

Have to figure they won’t be that poor the whole way…. but Lynx defense is excellent. NY struggling for clean looks.

Pretty great game so far, really awesome atmosphere. A million times more exciting than watching Rodgers and Wilson overthrow passes all night.

Liberty just took the lead for the first time and were close to the end of the third quarter.

What a game. A little refball at the end here yikes
Haven't seen any calls on either side that I thought were poor, not in a while. The one when Jones was backing down Carleton and they both fell over, was suspect, but it turns out Jones stepped on Carleton's foot.

Fair enough. Just seems like a different whistle in Q4. What a game and series

Looked clean to me and the ref explanation made no sense (who cares if she wasn't in a legal guarding position? She didn't make contact!).

But what do I know. This game and series deserves Overtime.

Did the NY coach just forget to call timeout? Or would the player with the ball have to call it? Either way, that seems like a massive mistake.

Two Lynx with 5 personal fouls and one Liberty. The big one is 5 on Napheesa Collier.

If anything, the optics of the defender's arms arching over Stewie rather than straight up meant they weren't overturning that. Not quite textbook defense.

That was an awful call to give Stewart those two free throws. Not legal guarding position? Sure ok. But it doesn’t matter when the defender literally doesn’t make any contact with her.
