If the Bruins play at a point per game pace the rest of the way, they win the Atlantic no matter what anyone else does. I believe they also clinch a playoff spot with their next win. (Detroit would need to go undefeated to catch the Bruins if the Bruins win one more game (or whenever they collect 2 more points), and I tihnk the Bruins win the tiebreaker even in this scenario, but I haven't gone all the way through).
The B's have 16 games left, and Magic #'s of 15(TOR), 16(TB), 14(MON), 12(DET), and 9(OTT).
Since Detroit is currently the first team out in the wild card scenario, the B's Playoff Clinch # is the same as theirs, currently. Obviously, as the team in that "first one out" changes, the B's magic # to clinch a spot will change.
I put a great site for figuring out Magic #'s on the resource thread, so anyone can take a look at a glance if they want.
