Figures. This smells like comcast being cheap and screwing customers. This is the exact same looking problem I had a few years ago with the HD channel on MLB extra innings at certain times. After a month of hassle I was told they "blacked out" at certain times. Wouldn't be surprised if they are rotating channels randomly from time to time as I've seen this on several occasions (usually only lasting 5 minutes)

Considering Comcast owns the transmission network AND NBC, I'm sure they're losing money hand over fist by the HD feed being out on their network right now.

Regardless, they would probably have to pay back a channel they didn't own if the channel's HD went out.  So, basically there is no reason for Comcast to black out any channel that they get paid to broadcast.

It's so strange that I have HD channels, including NBCSNHD, but not NBCHD. And, NBCHD is being broadcast fine on Verizon and DirectTV. Bizarre. Comcast sucks. My interenet has been shitty too lately. Otherwise I'd just be streaming it from my i-Pad in HD.
