Someone needs to just run Ovechkin at this point. I don't advocate stuff like that often, but these fucking pricks need to remember this game the next time they play.
And a high stick on Pasta. Yep.

Do not post often. Why does the best sport. Have the absolute worst officiating? Asking for many friends

Man, I do not miss having late stage Zdeno Chara on the Bruins.

Lucky I guess. I played in HS and as a drunken boob in a beer league. The officiating is always terrible. It’s a rule. A dollar short and a day late.

Tuukka's refugee camp
You gotta hand it to him. He busted his ass this summer to get in the best possible condition and it shows. He’s like a different guy out there.
There was an Athletic article on him recently. Last year was a shitty situation in that he got traded, was going to move out of his place in Anaheim, pandemic happened before that and then he was up in Canada before the bubble. Not a great situation.

To be honest. I watch hockey. The other North American sports are usually on radio or background noise. I played in rec leagues for years. I even managed to get thrown out of a game. After I complained to the D1 level ref. I had seen him on television several times. I just had my front teeth knocked out on a high stick. His response? You were a pain in the ass. Get off my ice.I have 5 more games today.

F Tom Wilson. Him being on a line with Backstrom is like when the Avs had Claude Lemiux on a line with Joe Sakic. And he's nowhere as skilled as Clode was. Unles you count the sport of cheapshotting,

Just caught up on highlights. Happy that the Bs took it to this dirtbag team on the scoreboard. Hope Carlo will be okay. Kinda resigned to the fact that this league will not do enough to prevent another Cooke-esque predator in Tom Wilson.

Am I allowed to like Jack Edwards call of the game last night? The last couple years he's been over-the-top when things like that have happened. He was animated, but not trying to shoehorn in references and hot takes, which has undermined him recently. He had a villain. The team had a villain. They were both able to focus and Jack was able to celebrate while dancing on Wilson in the box.

I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to like his call. Go for it.

I think that means he is suspended pending the hearing but I'm not certain
The league typically offers in person meetings when they're considering suspensions longer than five games. (Doesn't mean they will give more than five games, or even any games, though.)
