There’s an awful lot of passing by Liverpool in a penalty area with 11 defenders. Take some shots, see what the deflections do.

Salah levels off of Simpson's error, nicely taken chance given Mane's pass behind him didn't do him much service

On the first foul Tierney calls in Liverpool's favor after the goal, seemed like he and Milner were going at it pretty good - given their gesticulations, looks like Milner was still giving him shit for the non-call on Wilson. I wonder if there are cases where the ref lets a play go assuming it'll be overturned by VAR

Mane - what a step up from Van Dijk to spring the counter

Not sure what Ake was doing playing half of earth onside

Any now Tierney misses Mane pulling a Raheem Sterling and attempting to (American) football catch a ball over his head

Evidently shoves in the back are part of play with this ref.
Being physical and frustrating Liverpool’s inter play seems to be the new book on them. Tierney is definitely helping them although Liverpool defenders have adapted to it as well today.

Yes I saw the adjustment when the Liverpool player shouldered the Bournemouth player into the boards. Also no call.

If that went to VAR, Ake may have been seen as onside marginally.

Does seem somewhat karmic that it was Wilson to flub an empty net from 5 yards out

California. Duh.
22 home wine in a row, breaking their own record.

Up to 82 points, which passes the Leicester City title team's total with 9 games still remaining.

3 wins to go.

West Ham have missed at least a half dozen great chances, now trail 1-0 to Arsenal when they have clearly been the better side.

VAR (correctly) overturns the offsides call in the 78th minute and Ozil assists Lacazette on a big goal to get a 1-0 lead. Arsenal has been dominating possession and opportunities this match, do it's a well deserved lead. Taking all 3 points would put them into a tie with Spurs.

Tip of the cap to that touch, but the Fire CBs are too slow shifting over. Pineda has looked ok in the midfield, drop him back to CB next week and have Gimenez shield the defense.

Gimenez debuts! Pineda slides back to form a back-3. Will be interesting to see how the 3-5-2 works first time out.

Hey hey, this is what Wicky imagined - Gimenez with a great ball out wide, Djordje with an incisive cross, and a very nice finish by Bornstein.

Thankfully, the Revs can’t finish a chance right now...

Fire should be happy with a point in the road, especially given then number of great chances the Revs squandered. Gimenez looked very exciting. The 3-5-2 looked like it still needs a lot of work.
