Top-notch humor in this thread tonight, which is good because there is nothing funny about this game.

Swayman was good in the shootout and nice shootout snipe by Jake. This OT win was a struggle.

Solid 2 points, we may have something in Swayman here. No complaints with Hall but Lazar provided a noticeable boost to the 4th line. Also the overall puck movement and offensive creativity seemed dramatically improved tonight.

Oof. Pasta should have had that goal
That was awful.
Miller put that puck too hard and outside his front foot. Pasta had his weight on his back foot ready to one time it. Had to either be softer or further back - that wasn’t Pasta’s fault, he had no leverage. Might not have been Miller’s fault either, that could have been the only lane.

agreed, he whistled that pass, and I think he had to. Tough pass to handle for sure. Lazar was great as well, and definitely brought alot of new energy to the 4th line. I really liked Coyle Ritchie and Debrusk together as well.

They should have won handily in regulation. I think that they coasted at times and lacked urgency.
There's 3 brand new guys out there playing, and McAvoy probably a little rusty. It's probably not coasting as much as staying a little less aggressive because the new folks might not know where to be at certain times yet.

Yes, that definitely could have been part of it -- although the new guys played pretty well. The team just seemed a little out of sorts, a little off.
