My best guesses are Bastardo for Portland (pitched on their opening day last Sunday, have played 6 games so went through whole rotation) & LuCo for Salem (pitched game 3 last Sunday).

A couple old friends in the lineup for Syracuse today. Yolmer Sanchez singled, but was promptly erased on a Jose Iglesias gidp to end the 2nd.

WooSox lost their 1st game of the day 10-5, blowing a 5-0 lead.

BVB allowed 2 runs on solo homers in the 3rd, & another homer & 2 runs in the 4th. He only made it through 3.2 innings & allowed hits to 9 of the 19 hitters he faced. No walks, though.

A.J. Politi was actually worse. He allowed 4 runs, including a homer, in 1.1 innings.

Melvin Adón was also bad, allowing 2 runs including a homer in his 1 inning in his WooSox debut.

Yeah, he really waited back on it nicely.

Salem lost 4-1.

Better start from LuCo. 3 IP, 1 ER, 3 hits, 2 bb & 5 k's. Very inefficient, though, as it took him 67 pitches to make it through those 3 innings.

Austin Ehrlicher came in & pitched 3 innings, allowing 2 runs, but both were unearned. He allowed 3 hits, 0 walks & struck out 7. He made it through his 3 innings in only 45 pitches (77.8% strikes).

Nathanael Cruz pitched the last 2 innings & allowed a solo homer.

Niko was 1-2 with a homer & a walk.

Miguel Ugueto was 2-3 with a hbp.

Cutter Coffey & Luis Ravelo were each 2-4 with a double.

KCamp & Tyler Miller were each 1-3 with a double & a walk.

Bryan Gonzalez was 1-2 with 2 walks.

Allan Castro was 1-4 with a triple. He did not quite join the 3 guys who joined the exactly .100 club today, but improved to .095.

Portland won 9-5.

Angel Bastardo didn't have a great game - 4.2 IP, 3 ER, 2 hits, 5 walks & 3 strikeouts.

Brendan Cellucci came in next & allowed 2 runs in 2.1 IP (but did pick up the win & strike out 4).

Ryan Zeferjahn came in & picked up 1-2-3 innings in both the 8th & 9th with 2 strikeouts to pick up the save. He's now pitched 4 scoreless innings this season without allowing a walk (8.4 per 9 last season).
