Frederic or Ritchie for me.
Yeah that’s probably the right call. I think there’s an award for perseverance and dedication that Miller deserves. I’d lean Ritchie over Frederic just because I don’t like that award going to top prospects.

This might be a better question for a main board, and I didn't pay that close attention to the expansion draft last time, but do I remember trades made with the idea of Vegas taking a certain player? What did those look like?

So much more fun being excited for the next game. Love what they’ve shown the last two nights against a potential playoff foe.

The rest of the East division is now thinking they didn’t do enough at the deadline. They are playing at a high playoff level and they are down 3 of their top D. Get the 3 D back and the new guys settle in even more and look out. No one is going to want to draw them in round 1.

Great job by the 4th line out there with the empty netter-- they were out there a long time and couldn't change, and the Islanders were all over them, and then sent on the extra attacker to add even more pressure, but they battled the whole time and got the clinching goal. Pure effort by that line.

Mike Reilly has as many assists as Patrice Bergeron this season.

39-27 Corsi
19-14 Scoring Chances
10-6 HDC
2-1.12 Expected Goals

That increase in HDCF is the key. This team has great goaltending and quality defense (as long as Tinordi is upstairs), so if they can night-in-night-out generate those dangerous opportunities they're a legit contender. Only line tonight that was a negative analytics-wise was Coyle's line. The Lazar line had a great game: 8-1 Corsi, 6-0 scoring chances, 3-0 HDC, and an insane 97.99% xGF.

I'm starting to come around on this team.

Miller is never out there thought. I mean, he’s a nice story but he has played in 19 of 42 games so far and is not likely to play tomorrow. Steve Kampfer might end up playing more than Miller. I think Connor Clifton has a better argument for the 7th player than Miller.

I understand. He is such a physical and leadership presence though when he is out there. Freddy is my alternate choice.
