The players most likely give less of a shit about the uniform color than everyone that has expressed displeasure for them. The "Boston" home jersey doesn't really tie in with the marathon but the bombing/victims/Boston Strong so I don't think that was a player pushback but common sense that dictated they wouldn't be worn today.We're back to the white home uniforms today.

The contact numbers suggest that the difference between the bad first week and good subsequent hitting has mostly been which deep fly balls and sharply hit grounders were right at fielders.His overall numbers are still mediocre but he's had some bad luck...I'd still prefer a guy who can get on base better than .320 leading off, but I do like him as a player.
