When Luis Severino went down for the start of the regular season, NY fans thought 'Uh, who the hell is next up?'.
Next up is 25 year old Jhony Brito, who actually had been reassigned to minor league game before Severino's injury. He came back and started a spring game on 3/26 against a representative TOR lineup, and retired all 16 batters he faced before leaving after 58 pitches. I'm guessing his limit is 75-80 pitches today, it will be his MLB debut after a strong season in AA/AAA last year, added to the 40 man in November,
Going for SF is Ross Stripling, who NY saw a lot of with TOR. DJ and Gleyber both have good numbers against him, maybe Donaldson sits.
