Swayman is in net. Appears Kampfer is going in for Zboril.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Hall - Krejci - Smith
Ritchie - Coyle - DeBrusk
Kuraly - Lazar - Wagner

Grzelyck - McAvoy
Reilly - Clifton
Lauzon - Kampfer

Swayman
Rask

Kampfer needs to appear in 10 of the remaining 12 to become name-eligible.
On the Cup, you mean? He could also "back door" his way on by appearing in at least one game of the SCF (which would be bittersweet: sweet because they'd be in the SCF, but bitter because Kampfer would be playing).

Kampfer isn’t going to win the Norris but he hasn’t hurt the team. He’s played as well as Steve Kampfer can play.

In 2011, he played in 38 of 42 needed.
In 2019, he played in 35 of 42 needed, but did play in game 3 of the cup finals.

Its a (stretch of a) pattern of playing ~40% of the games in a cup run season.

2011 must gnaw at him. I believe that the Bs petitioned to have his named added, but were denied -- could be mistaken, though.

42 games seems too high a bar. Some players contribute more in 42 games than others do in playing in them all.

I could stare at that all day.

(And what bullshit it is that the owners, coaches, etc are listed before the players are.)

Kampfer played in more games than Savard that year.

The fact that the whole Jacobs family gets on there but a guy that played 46% of the games that year doesn't is a bummer.

Shane Hnidy deserves to be on their as well. He played 3 playoff games during that run. Anyone that plays in the playoffs should be on, no questions asked IMO.

Hasn't been awful, but both Carlo and Miller are much better options.
No question. Of Zboril, Kampfer and Clifton, who’s the 7th D if everybody gets healthy? Kampfer and Clifton’s advanced metrics are basically the same, although Cassidy gives Kampfer more O zone starts and Clifton more D zone starts — and a higher percentage of Kampfer’s shots get through. Zboril is the best skater and has the best possession numbers, but he’s prone to rookie mistakes and his shots-through percentage is 41.

Hmmm, not sure . . . when Butch is forced to choose between Clifton and Kampfer doesn't he almost always choose Clifton? And he might take Clifton over Zboril at least in part because Clifton has a fair amount of playoff experience.

Marchand was almost as alone as he was last game when he scored from pretty much that same space.
