I'm only catching highlights and looking at the NST page for the game, but the difference in goaltending looks to be the key tonight. B's were a bit flat tonight, but Swayman was excellent and Tokarksi... not so much.

Didn’t get to see the game but just watched the highlights on NHL.com. Not much of an effort between the pipes for the Sabres tonight. Grz’s and Ritchie’s goals were super softies. Buffalo fans (but not the Pegulas) deserve better than what they’re forced to watch every night.

It’s really shouldn’t be a controversy. Swayman is the organization’s second best goalie, and should be the backup.

I never post in here, but I follow along most games. I just want to say that the Saber's goaltender had no chance, especially in the 3rd. Their defense may as well have skated back to the bench. He just got peppered for 20 minutes.
