Maybe it is just me but I find it a bit sad that a hitter with power of Casas is always looking to walk.
It's worked for other guys, Max Muncy has a pretty low swing % too. He's also prone to go through droughts where his walks keep his OBP viable while he's not making much contact, then he'll get hot and hammer the shit out of everything.

I find it refreshing. For the past couple of years we've had basically nobody interested in drawing walks. Just flailing at crap. (Of course it helps if the Ump isn't terrible).

Me too. Guy is top 20 or whatever in BB rate. It's gonna come with some called strikeouts.

Time to jump on Wells. The guy throws horrible slop and this lineup should demolish him the second/third thru the order.

I’m surprised Yoshi even swung at that breaking ball in the zone for the first strike. He’s been letting them go all season long.

Wells has a lot of late movement on his pitches. He's getting guys out with it, despite his low velocity. Frustrating.

Hasn't Tanner been our most consistently good pitcher? This is disappointing like Sale's start. I am glad we got good Kluber or we could be looking at being swept.

Is the lack of swing and miss stuff by our starting staff an issue or am I just cherry picking recent results.

Sale no K’s last start. Houck 25 batters, 2K’s today..

Nothing you think will happen in baseball is to be relied on. OB et al went on an on about how reliable Houck has been. And we all expected Sale to have found himself against the Angels and Kluber to continue to suck. And yet....
It's still possible the Sox catch up and win, of course, but there is no sure prediction to be made on the outcome. How do people bet their own money on baseball?

Urias is definitely on the Lead Pipe List now. 3-3 today, he never seems to make an out against Boston.

Forgot there was a game on, tune in just in time to see Duran get a hit off a lefty!

....but now we have Arroyo facing the otherworldly changeup from Cano. Yikes.

Solid AB here regardless of outcome
Gotta disagree. Only one of those pitches -- the eighth -- was definitely a strike. The rest were way way inside. If Arroyo could lay off anything the bases would have been juiced with one out.

Well, that isn't good at all. Definitely can't afford to lose Turner's bat in this lineup. Hope he is ok.

edit - He looks to be ok, WMB explained he probably just lost feeling for a bit.
