I mean I get it, he didn't make the other miracle catch and somehow he got charged with the error recovering Abreu’s fuckup so he wasn't literally perfect, but I don't understand your angle here.

I thought he subbed in at 2B and made that horrid throw to 1st. Box score says I'm clearly wrong and it was Valdez. My apologies.

Dude, Seattle has a top rotation in baseball. Even the A's took one from the O's. They're on a 10 game west coast trip. You picked them to win 63 games this season, and you're asking us why 5-5 would be a good trip? GTFOH.

Yeah, after an exciting if not flawed 1-0 win, a day game after a night game no less, and you come in here spewing nonsense and you didn't even watch the game. You picked them to win 63 games. They've gone 5-2 so far, on a season starting west coast road trip, and yet you ask why 5-5 would have been considered a success when the season started. You ignore the fact that shitty teams like the A's win roughly one out of every 3 games. But oh yeah, you think the Sox are a 63 win team, almost as bad as the A's, but they should be expected to sweep them? And hang with Seattle? WTF man, what the hell are you even doing? And whatever it is, just stop.

And it's not just gamethreads, all you do lately wherever you post is shit on all things Red Sox. Enough already. Some of us are seriously trying to evaluate what we have here, and it appears it actually may be something. Look at the pitching numbers. And they are winning without clicking offensively yet. God forbid we should have that conversation without you injecting this kind of trolly bullshit designed to rile people up. And it's generally really hard to rile me up, but man, enough is enough is enough.

There are legitimate questions and criticisms in this thread and all over the place that are made in good faith, and that is what our best discussions are born from. You're certainly welcome to participate in that any time.

BUT THE OWNERS ARE CHEAP SO EVERYTHING SUCKS. And, uh, Sox are tied for 6th best record in MLB. Here's to hoping the Sox sweep the A's in Sacramento next year! Clink!
