Considering that Washington is awfully close to sewing up the Metro, and Toronto still has to play Columbus and Pittsburgh this week, go for 2nd in the Atlantic. It's there for the taking.
Absolutely. Go for the win against Ottawa Thursday and see what happens.

Using Keith's machete swing at Coyle's nose as a barometer, Marchy should be fine for the playoffs. Rest of season could be a bit more iffy.

Great win. But don't sit back. The 2/3 seeds in the division are up for grabs and critical to get. Thursday is the next huge game...

Tuukka was immense tonight, especially in the 2nd period. And Stafford had a real underrated good game even outside the goal. Great pickup by Sweeney.

Bergeron: 19 minutes, 3 short handed, 17 faceoff wins, 0 faceoff losses, 6 shots on goal, and a take away.

Is that good?

Also - Tuukka's last 4: 4-0-0, 0.75 GAA, .972

Haggs still thinks we should ride the hot hand in Dobby though.

Haha figures, I'm leaving on Tuesday for a 10 day trip to Italy. Any idea the best way to be able to watch the games? Buy a sling box? Does NBCSports stream overseas?

Ask Mr Google.
I was able to find a bar in Paris to watch the 2004 AL playoffs. I'm sure there's some hockey places.

From what I can see on the NHL.tv FAQs, it works in Europe, and there shouldn't be any blackouts there as there are no broadcast partners in the country.

Nice to be guaranteed at least SOME playoff hockey again.

Illegal websites that will give you viruses?
No laptop either. Just iPad.

Don't go??
Haha been planning this trip for a while and it's a huge bucket list item for my dad. That's not an option.

I did that but the 7pm games here are 2am there and there wasn't much on google. I don't mind waking up to watch but bars won't be open.

I'm an NHL.tv subscriber for the regular season but I bet they'll gouge me again for the playoffs. Still worth it. Thanks.

They've never charged me for the playoffs. Granted, NBC's stranglehold has meant they're all blacked out, but I think once you're subscribed, you're good through the offseason.

Toronto and Ottawa have tough fucking schedules the rest of the way. We could end up with home ice with a couple wins.

If the Bruins win the final 2 games, they are guaranteed at the very least the 3 seed in their division. However, I would say they would most likely get the 2 seed as well. Toronto plays Tampa on Thursday and while highly unlikely, Tampa has a shot to catch Toronto still so they will be playing for their lives again. Toronto then follows that up with Pitt and Columbus back to back. It is very likely they should lose at least one of those.

Yes as long as they beat Ottawa in regulation.

If you need/want a reliable YouTube stream, PM me before each game - should be able to get you one.
