I don't remember seeing anything like this in terms of gifting so many powerplays in a short time...

The penalty that Marchand scored the shortie on was also a joke - Zboril falling, Sheary falling over him, and Zboril getting the gate for a trip.

The only thing worse than a Kelly Sutherland-reffed game is when he has someone like Blandina alongside. Blandina has the most goals/game this year in games he officiates of any ref in the league, can start to see why.

Blandina staring at Kampfer getting crunched leaves his arms at his side.

I didn't think Sutherland / Kozari could be eclipsed on my list of incompetence, but this shithead is skyrocketing up there

did he do the stiff arm fencer pose? His arms look like they were locked for a second or two

I'm not able to watch the game and I'm getting mad.

League needs to completely overhaul its officiating.

Hagelin was in a tough position there. But fuck the Caps

I'm way behind on my stream and its paused so this may seem way, way, way out of scope, but I need to absolutely rave about Marchand and Bergeron's penalty kill at 0:30 in the second. Marchand blocks, drives to the dot and fires a wide shot that bounces to Bergeron who is on the other side of the net. Bergeron then notices that all 5 caps have committed back, so he then sends the puck all the way BACK TO HIS OWN END so that one of the D could waste another 10-15 seconds clearing it. That sequence is a "brain" argument for the selke for both guys.

Caught up by doing a lot of fast forwarding. What a fucking clown show of a game for the refs.

Late to the party, but that display by the officials was abominable. That was Lakers/Kings level bad, they desperately wanted Washington back in this game.
