Really?

You dont have any idea why Gronk might rock a #69 jersey?

Dudes crazy..

He wore a fake #69 when they were practicing in San Diego and BB didn't want them wearing numbers due to lack of security at the facility there.

Meeting up with 30 or so SoSHers at Copley for the 2004 red sox parade is one of my favorite sports memories. Wish I could be there today. Glad you guys are having such a blast.

Saving Butler for last?  I didn't notice him with the other DBs.

Doesn't look like this got answered.  Apologies if it did.  Butler was on a green duck boat.  You can see him waving to the crowd at the top, back of the boat at about 5:20 in the video I posted in post #154.  I recognized him, but I'm not sure many others near me did.

Here's the video I took at the parade (first time with a GoPro; sorry for some shakiness but it was COLD!)

Not the greatest video.  The highlight is probably Gronk starting at 14:20 (in particular, be sure to look out for his antics at about 15:02).

Got the kids a gopro for Christmas. I'm such as jackass for not thinking to use it today. Nice work Ferm.

Thanks.  It was my son's GoPro.  I've never used it but he wanted to hold a sign and I'm taller, so I took the video for him.

Nope. It was Crazy Train, clear as day.

Again, I'm not making this up.  And I had the conversation I related with my wife, who was wondering why the Pats were using the Red Sox music.

I live in western CT and am a UVerse customer.  (Well, I was.  Now with f%cking Frontier.)  Maybe that's a reason for the difference.  But folks at the game are saying that they came out to that song and that's what I heard on my broadcast.  And hell, the only reason I even noticed is because of the conversation with my wife.  Otherwise I would not have a clue as to what the music was.

I think it was Shipping Up to Boston as they walked out through the tunnel, and Crazy Train once they were introduced running onto the field.

Both songs were played. I don't know why. If you have the game saved, go back and watch it.

Why they played both? I dunno. Like stated above, it could be a rights issue.

It sounded like Crazy Train, and shortly after that, they cut to Seattle walking from the locker room. Nirvana then kicked in. Back to the Pats coming on the field, Crazy Train, and then Shipping Up To Boston over it, followed by Bittersweet Symphony. It was a mess.

Watch for yourself.

DKM in the tunnel and then Crazy Train as they entered the field,

EDIT: My guess is the music before each team was introduced is chosen by TV. After each team was introduced, I imagine it's stadium sound.

I'd guess you're correct. Seattle's been coming out to Bittersweet Symphony since before CenturyLink Field was built, but the networks choosing obvious songs like "Shipping Up to Boston" and Nirvana makes sense.

Not saying your making anything up, just that apparently your cable company and a couple other people's had some kind of unique feed, which doesn't make sense to me, but whatever. I just pulled up the original broadcast on my DVR and at no point were DKM or Nirvana played. They certainly didn't play all four. Whether they were played in stadium or not is a different topic. (I actually took a video of it, but TinyPic is not cooperating with my uploading it.)
DKM was playing on the Fox Sports Latinoamérica feed too:

There's a whole photo journal of parade Gronk here
Does he have to declare eligible before he goes downfield? Or is that only if he is between the ends? I just want him to get the chance to go deep for a score.

As I scroll through my mediocre at best iPhone pictures, I give you a hearty (and wintry) Peter King kudos for thinking ahead. Dammit.
