essentially yes, that's been how they've called it all year, if you swing through with your elbow up like that.... especially against a guard, you're getting called
I think sometimes the player has no idea that there was contact because there’s so much going on.
That’s on the coach. A couple years into replay now, every coach should know that you cannot trust the player’s perception.
That replay shows no contact at all. If it occurred, we're still waiting for an angle that shows it.
I’ve been pretty ambivalent about their ambivalent play, but if that doesn’t change in the ECF I’d be verrrry disappointed.
Garland has done this before, hasn't he? It looks like a really easy kind of play to take a "dive" on.

If there was any contact it was because garland intentionally put his head where JB would have to put his elbow to turn.. it was completely unnatural
Al has recovered nicely on Garland the last couple of times, but I don't understand why Al is guarding him. All quarter like this.
