Nurkic clearly stepped out into Smart’s path. How could you possibly argue Smart gets a flagrant for being the target? No replay shows anything close to intent.

If they used the opportunity to get things right, I'd disagree with you. But they almost never reverse foul calls, so it's kind of worthless.
Most things they review are arbitrary/subjective enough that nobody would give a shit if they just go with the call on the floor. Review objective calls and nothing else is my view. Like a bad goaltend call, for example.

Wow on the ejection.

I guess we don't have to worry about the Smart ill advised 3 down the stretch.

Listen, when you have Marcus' rep and you do stupid shit you're more likely to get called on it because of all the stupid shit you've done before.

That's horseshit.

If Nurkic didn't move to make it an illegal screen Smart doesn't hit him.
He clearly moved his arm to hit him, and then looked back at the ref to see if he caught it. It's a bush league move.

On the bright side, the ejection probably helps the Celtics.

I actually think the NBA needs to be stricter about nut punches... remember draymond kicking dudes in the balls like five times that one playoffs?

Marcus got taken down by a flying elbow earlier and it was a common foul. Marcus gets taken out by a moving screen and he gets ejected. What the fuck.

Brad should pull the team from the court. That’s indefensible and he should force the issue

So Smart incidentally nut tapping is a flagrant. But incidentally giving Smart a concussion isn't. Okay.

This is ridiculous. Powell clock Smart in the face with a basketball play, swinging his arm at a loose ball. Common foul. Smart runs into an illegal screen, and his left arm happens to hit Nurcic in the nuts, and they throw him out of the game

Yeah, if you think that was anything but the right call you're kidding yourselves. He took a frustration shot at the guy because he lost his cool like Marcus does very often. That;s the right call and Marcus needs to stop being a fucking moron.

Edit- actually it probably should have been a tech no ejection, but when you have a lengthy rep you get ejected there, much like if it had been Draymond.

He moved his arm because he knew Nurkic would move into him? And I'm sure he looked AFTER it happened because he knows where he hit him.
