I'm choosing to live in a world where this team finds a way to win the next game. It's the only thing that matters at present. Win the next game.

This team is fully capable of beating Miami in this game, just need to get out of their own heads, play hard on D and make their shots

Come out, play hard, and win one. After that, anything can happen

The "Dear God, we can't let our broadcast partners go 8 days without a game" whistle ought to be in full effect tonight.

Right Here
Don't need a four game winning streak. Just need four one game winning streaks in a row.

It bears repeating... A wise man once said... "Don't let us win tonight."

Remember that the 2004 Red Sox weren’t fully the 2004 Red Sox until after the ALCS. 3 games in they were a great regular season team that was getting taken to town by their more experienced rivals who were professionals and winners. The team was also, by accounts from players like Wakefield, ready to give up. Then they showed up and Millar started talking and talking and talking about how they were still in it, about how if they won tonight, they’d have Pedro and Schilling the next 2, and that anything could happen in a Game 7. But even that is convenient narrative recasting. Because the team was about to get swept against the best closer in the history of the game before they eked out a run to keep themselves alive.

The moral here is that it doesn’t matter how the players felt two days ago or yesterday or even this morning. What matters is who they are and what they are when the ball goes live. And for all of us here, the lesson is don’t count this team out. Don’t give up early. Even the direst of circumstances can turn around. So believe. Believe in this team. Believe in the players. Believe in the Celtics. Because Miami should be afraid to let us win this game tonight.

And it doesn't matter if you (in a generic sense) actually believe this. You keep saying it and focusing on it and thinking it until maybe it becomes possible. Maybe? You never know...

Maybe you fail but few, if any, comebacks are mounted by those who have already conceded a game that has yet to be played.

The toilet.
Woj has been a pretty consistent water-carrier for Udoka, right? Fuck both those guys.

As far as the C's go - humbly, I request that one of the best players in the world show exactly why they're great. Let's get this back to the Garden!

What a load of shit. They played well this season and won the first 2 rounds against game opponents. Now they lost because they’re sad about Ime? Fuck off with that.
I tend to agree with respect to Woj and the Ime shit, but there's a ton of other smoke out there with regard to the players and their feelings on Coach Joe. I think that relationship is dust at this point. Hoping to be proven wrong though.

If we can't make it, I want Jokic to get a ring. Run as much as we can, tire them out, and expose some of their strategies.

Outside of Tatum, it would seem so. Then again, it seems they pushed Brad out too, so at what point is it maybe just get Marcus out of the locker room? And Brown apparently didn’t like Ime, so I really don’t know who would make these guys happy.

Show some heart. You’re a 57 win team. You don’t get swept by a 44 win team. Come on!

edit: WojBomb indicates they are toast. They are the ‘83 Celts. No way that tweet gets out unless they have uniformly quit on coach. I expect they lose by 20+ and Mazzula is fired by Thurs.

Narrator: they won’t.
You may be right. So you'll be hate watching then?

I am on record but just to be clear, I believe that after all that has transpired that Boston has a decent chance to win this game. Not only that - I am rooting for it.
