Four against a mediocre Tigers team (offensively terrible, pitching can be quite good)
Two against Atlanta without Acuna and one game expected to be a spot starter
Three against the horrible White Sox

Go 7-3 or better in this stretch and you're still in the WC conversation, at least before the Philly / Yankee homestand after. Keep buying time for Casas (and Yoshida?) to return.

Series 19: TIGERS at SOX
We lost the O’s series with the retention
of our even record. There’s no suspension
of disbelief and there is no dissention
among Die-Hard fans in any dimension
that the Red Sox can get back in contention.
Winning home games is not a new invention.
I want a pennant ‘fore I get my pension.
Attack the Tigers without apprehension.
Destroy Detroit and begin our ascension.

Anyone else having trouble with the nesn feed on the mlb app? My broadcast keeps rewinding to the award ceremony.

Ah the nightly period when my NESN 360 goes into a black screen for 15-20 minutes for no reason.

I'll always remember his shoulder subluxation walking off at Fenway holding his shoulder. (Right as Lester was diagnosed with cancer). The two kids who were our future were never going to pitch again.
