Japanese names are on the consonants. so it's Yo-Shee-Da.Isn't it YOSHeeda, not YoshEEDa, the way OB says it? Anybody know?
Whatever is opposite of what OB says/does is proper.Isn't it YOSHeeda, not YoshEEDa, the way OB says it? Anybody know?
You mean even emphasis on all syllables?Japanese names are on the consonants. so it's Yo-Shee-Da.
Your wish is...Devers can put this one on ice here. Please do it.
In Japan it wouldn't be Yoshi (which is a common first name) but he's probably cool with whatever sticks over here?Is Masa the preferred nickname? Not Yoshi?
The broadcast team has said a bunch of times he prefers Masa.In Japan it wouldn't be Yoshi (which is a common first name) but he's probably cool with whatever sticks over here?
Yes, but quickly. You mean even emphasis on all syllables?
And, Phew! Raffy almost homered.
Could be, although I like Kee-kaySo you're saying he could unload Hernandez?
For me it is. Too many bad memories of blown leads. Still, having fun right now!Is it too early to be cautiously optimistic about the outcome of this game?
Hei, let us Sho you around.Could be, although I like Kee-kayBut seriously, what Bloom wanted is now coming to fruition -- Casas, Masa, Duran, and we can add Wong and Valdez, are all coming into their own. The O is fine -- they have a bunch of prospects that gives him options (e.g., Valdez, Romero, Yorke for 2nd) and Duvall/Mondesi/Story coming back. I assume that should this continue Bloom will aim for a top tier pitcher/pitchijn gporspect come the trade deadline -- but what do I know. Just a fan. But I'm excited.
