No boring list. On the fifth day of the fifth month I would like to see the Yankees win their fifth game in a row. That's it. I don't care how it happens.

Worrying about Rougy, he was going to lose his starting spot soon anyway with Voit back, but hopefully it is nothing serious or long-term.

Odor onto the IL with a knee sprain, but he avoided the worst. NY replaced him with Albert Abreu, which likely means they are speeding up the Luke Voit timetable a bit and maybe we will even get him back this weekend, but until then, 12 position players and 14 pitchers.

Also, a lot of rain in NYC today, but looks like it should be done around game time.

Rain should pass through quickly, surprised they didn't delay it a bit but maybe they were scared to have the raucous crowd wandering around with no game to watch.

This pitching motion seems like it should be illegal (I get that it isn't actually), but I guess you just need to get a runner on to get him to stop.

There are literally four guys in Scranton right now who I would rather have on the roster than Ford: Voit, Andujar, Dietrich, Gittens.

I appreciate umpires doing their part to usher in the era of the automated strike zone.

Garcia must be close to done, he generally tops out around 80 pitches and is at 74 after 4.

Chapman is unfair this season, I was laughing out loud that whole inning. Those are three really good hitters (Alvarez, Correa, Gurriel) and I don’t think he even bothered with the splitter, dotting 101 whenever and wherever he needed.

Also this is why every fan base salivated over Stanton for years.

HOU was outhitting NY 8-1 in the 4th and did not get another hit while NY got the final 8.

The crowds in this series are a flashback to my eighties youth going to games, raucous and a lot of empty seats.
