Brad has spent years telling his players that every open look they can get is good, and this team is reaping the, uhh, benefits. No understanding of the basic concept of making the extra pass, moving without the ball, etc. Shocking that this guy came from college ball and heralded as a boy genius.

Losing my mind thinking about how Brad will bench a rookie for the slightest infraction and never says a fucking word about Marcus's insane bullshit
I’ve been harping on this ever since the disastrous Kyrie year.
I think Brad must really believe in “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”

They give up 38 in the first quarter, and now 34 with three more Miami possessions to go in the second. Non-competitive in a big game on Tommy Heinsohn day

A couple open threes don't go down and this team loses its cool and turns into a team of isolation scorers.

11 assists to 8 turnovers

Starting to doubt Brad. Hate to admit it.

Rapters are losing but shit they are battling, playing hard, in most games.

Cs are out of it to begin games 1/3 the time

Honestly think Nurse has ranked some games.
They'll play just well enough in the 2nd half to keep us watching. On rare occasion, they win one. (Den, SA).

Why did a team with IT/Bradley/Crowder/Amir/Horford/Olynyk play so much fucking harder? They weren’t better, but they unequivocally played harder.

If you can only coach up lesser players to give a shit, that’s a problem.

Just win Tuesday and the remaining schedule is soft (Cavs/Wolves/Knicks backups).
In all honesty, why? This team isn’t doing shit. Just keep losing and get into the lottery. Save everyone from having to watch this misery

Yeah, same thing happened with the talented 2018-2019 team.

Bingo. That seems to be becoming Brad’s MO. His teams don’t deal well with expectations

IT, by the way, was worse than Kemba on D, but that didn’t stop the rest of the team from balling out to cover for him.

Giving up only 38 points in the first quarter was apparently good, since they got lit up for 41 in the second.

yea this ranks somewhere in their Top 5 LOWS this season, there are so many
Yeah. Let’s not be prisoners of the moment guys. This team has had so many pathetic displays and lows, let’s not just give this one game the “lowest of the low” award so easily

that was about as bad a half that I've seen a talented team play.

Ever.

that was disgraceful.
Didn't watch SAS game?

Not pointing out that game b//c I think Cs are coming back but b.c. Cs can pay putrid BBall.

Brad pointed this out months ago - when adversity hits, for some reason the team falls apart for multiple possessions.

C's 17/24 from 2, 4/18 from 3.

Heat 17/23 from 2, 11/20 from 3.

Seems that's been the case a lot of times this year.

It's good we have a guy we can pay $6M/year to point this out for us. Not sure what they'd do without that added value.

I want to point out that Trevor Ariza, a guy that multiple people here called completely washed and couldn’t even help out this teams pathetic bench, has 17 points. In the 1st half

I mean this team was good defensively just last year. Theres plenty of players with excellent defensive reputations on this squad.

I don't think it's any coincidence all of yhe top 4 playoff teams from last year have fallen in the standings due to injuries. The Lakers, the Heat, and the Nuggets have all seen catastrophic injuries, and you're just more likely to be injured if you're tired. And they're fucking worn out.

I know we wanna put the COVID excuses behind us but I can't ignore that combined with the condensed schedule and minimal off-season.

Fantastic he can point that out. If only there was something more that he could do than pointing it out

The Nuggets are 44-24 and still playing well without Jamal Murray.

The Heat are way better than us currently, now that both teams are healthy.

LAL...they aren't built to withstand LeBron/AD injuries, and they're still better than us, even with that.

Should've drafted Thybulle. Getting Grant and Edwards was getting two pieces of junk ... Thybulle's a damn good defender at least.

Only Tatum, Smart, and Brown can be considered worn down by this unique schedule this season. Kemba gets games off. Grant and TL didn't play heavy minutes in the bubble, or this season. Everyone else didn’t play bubble minutes

Looking like a pretty terrible draft for Ainge all together but it's still too early on Romeo.

TL and AN look like they are going to work out well though so it's fine.
