Cristofe Tineo allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits, three walks, and a wild pitch over three frames; whiffing a trio. Angel Maita mashed two singles and drew a walk in four appearances; he was caught stealing once. Andres Gari golfed a double and earned a free pass in four attempts. Ronald Gutierrez relinquished an unearned run on a hit and a walk over two innings; striking out two. Felix Gomez pitched two scoreless innings on a hit and a walk; whiffing a quartet. Osvaldo De La Rosa yielded three runs on three hits, two walks, and a hit by pitch in the eighth. Angel Sosa surrendered one run on three walks and three wild pitches in the ninth while striking out the side.

Gilberto Jimenez golfed a single and a triple in four jaunts. Lewis Baez bashed a triple in three at-bats. Jared Oliver yielded one run on two hits and two walks; striking out one in 2 1/3 frames.

Carolina League All-Star Santiago Espinal slapped a single, drew a walk, and was hit by a pitch in four excursions; scoring three of the four runs. Fellow All-Star Jerry Downs delivered two singles and was also bopped by a pitch in four jaunts. Brett Netzer notched a double in four at-bats.
