I blame the BPD. They closed off like three blocks around the Garden tonight in anticipation of a game 4 victory. That and the fact that the Celtics couldn’t hit a shot in the first half.

It's funny how so many of the replays show Mavs committing obvious fouls... Like the Luka push off on white.

They weren’t going to win this game unless they put in like their top 99.5% effort. Might as well be a blowout.
Yep. They're going to get ripped for the next 48 hours, just like the Mavs were after Game 3.

Is it just really, really hard to put in the energy/ concentration they did in the first three games over four straight? Especially on the road?
I think that’s for sure part of it, and I think the Mavs finally acquired a chip on their shoulder, and I think the refs were in a mood to reward effort, and I think the Mavs showed the value of elite shotmaking in desperate game.

Wiscansin, by way of Attleboro
Are they playing the close out game of the finals like the play the end of any game that's close? Stagnant offense and tightness abound all over this game. I get the heavy finger of the league office and Foster and such, but this was embarrassing even if you take these elements out. No way you should be getting punked like this in a closeout game

Pierce bringing the Auerbach cigar to “First Take”. That and the Celtics caused this :)

Let’s go out and celebrate the Cs performance tonight by running straight into one of those barricades and then short arming a layup.

At least tomorrow is Saturday so I don’t have to listen to Jon Stashower announce this result while I’m walking to the train.

Grande keeps tweeting out the best point differential per game in NBA history reg season and playoffs, last time I think we were 4th or 5th all time.

This game.... will not help.

Not really worth looking at the stats but Mavs are +12 in shot attempts and +17 in 2 point makes. Brutal.

Lolboohoo.

I’ll take their position over the Mavs’ short term elation.
I think you missed my point. The C's are going come out amped-up Monday after being embarrassed in this one. Nobody is suggesting they're not still in great position.

Extremely frustrating that it doesn't seem like they were able to match the Mavs mentally or physically tonight, and that Dallas got so many bounces and calls. But I also really really don't feel great that they haven't been able to generate good scoring opportunities on offense seemingly since the 3rd quarter in Game 3.
