2:30 and no gamethread for a 7PM game.
I know I started one of these just a couple weeks ago, so it's kinda out of turn, but someone has to get it started.
Besides, I got some news a few hours ago that makes this one of the best days I've had in I have no idea how long. So maybe the good juju that I'm burping right now will find its way to Progressive Field and dust the Sox as they get ready to go.

Cleveland is the home of hastily-made tourism videos and a music museum that has no clue how to pick its Hall of Famers.

C'mon, that's over. He's gone two whole games without making an error at short. Of course, in one of those he played the outfield, but still ...
Can't he at least not bat sixth? He'd miss it off a tee right now.

Arroyo was just a guest appearance? If “he’s back” shouldn’t he be playing until the next IL?

I wish. As far as I know it's been at least a decade since the last batch was found. We might sadly be at the point where no new discoveries are possible because the stock they'd be on would be so degraded now.
Which sucks, because the only reason more people don't know that Troughton is right up there with Baker as the best original Doctor is because so much of his run is gone.

30 and 30. The season’s a draw.
The up and down Sox are like a seesaw.
Some days they play great and leave us in awe.
Sometimes they rub salt in wounds that are raw.
A hot early May brought lots of hoopla.
Now we’re ice cold with no sign of a thaw.
Despite our payroll, the Sox are Bourgeois.
We’re simply average like food from Wawa:
Like Styx sans DeYoung and fronted by Shaw:
Like the non “Take on Me” songs by A-ha.
We’re not good or bad. We’re just kind of blah.
Still, I was taught well by my ma and pa.
Ask if I’ll quit and my answer is “Nah.”
This camel’s back has not yet met it’s straw,
and we, as Sox fans, have one fatal flaw.
Like a scrappy fighter with a glass jaw,
we will look awful, get knocked down, but claw
back in the fight for a final hurrah.
In Cleveland tonight, we’ll hem, and we’ll haw.
If we want water, the ship’s gonna yaw.
We’ll never give up. (I think that’s the law.)

Agreed with all. He's actually my favorite doctor. The whole pitch of "revolutionary anarchist hobo" that Troughton does it what got me into doctor who in the first place.

I think at this point we're probably basically hoping that some anonymous collectors are sitting on stuff that they'll release back to the world when they pass on or something.

Anyways, go Sox.

I saw you use bourgeois, and didn't know how you'd get out of that corner. I've no idea what Wawa is, but it works.

I like that Yoshi (a perfect number two hitter) has been moved to the 2-spot.
I like that Raffy (a perfect cleanup hitter, at least back in the day when he hit) has been dropped to the 4-spot.
Now, if only we could move Kike out of the short-spot.

WaWa is a 7 Eleven like store that prides themselves at also making homemade hoagies and sandwiches which - although they sound exciting - simply taste like one might expect a gas station sandwich to taste.

I know as many people who have eaten Wawa sober as I know non Take on Me songs by Aha.

Funny how we were all in agreement about this yesterday, and today it happens.

Naylor did not miss his hanging offspeed pitch. Turner hooked his foul. That's the difference right now.
