Irvin Villaroel relinquished one run on four hits and a walk in four frames; striking out five. Argenis Batista was battered for three runs on two walks, two wild pitches, and a double before being relieved by Cristofe Tineo, who was torched for four unearned runs on three hits, a hit by pitch, and a wild pitch while picking up two outs; one by K. Isaias Ozoria picked up the final out in the fifth and then went three more innings, allowing two hits, a walk, and a hit by pitch while whiffing a trio.

Angel Maita managed two singles and a stolen base in five appearances. Gabriel Quintero golfed a double and drew a walk in four quests. Antoni Flores flipped a single, earned a base on balls, and was caught stealing in five forays. Nelson Teran singled in his first professional at-bat in the eighth after coming in for Oscar Rangel who had three outs in as many opportunities. Kleiber Rodriguez and Carlos Martinez each contributed a hit in four matchups; Martinez with a double. Luis Hernandez earned a free pass in four excursions. Angel Gonzalez and Danny Diaz delivered four awful attempts.

Chandler Shepherd surrendered one unearned run on six hits and a walk over six frames; striking out a quartet. Ty Buttrey yielded one hit and whiffed a pair in two scoreless innings. Ryan Brasier gave up a hit in an otherwise clean ninth.

Mike Ohlman obtained a single, a walk, and his sixth homer in four matchups. Tzu-Wei Lin lined a single and a double in four trips. Cole Sturgeon, Rusney Castillo, Ivan De Jesus, and Ramon Flores each contributed one hit in four sessions; Castillo and De Jesus with round trippers. Mike Miller managed a free pass in three attempts. Oscar Hernandez made outs in all three opportunities. Adam Lind languished with four awful at-bats.

Matt Kent was knocked for seven runs (one earned) on five hits – including taters from Ryan Mountcastle and Audry Perez – while striking out seven over six frames. Trey Ball yielded three hits and whiffed two in his two scoreless innings. Josh Taylor tossed a 1-2-3 ninth with one K.

Danny Mars managed two singles and dropped a sacrifice bunt in four matchups. Luke Tendler lined two singles in four trips. Josh Ockimey obtained two singles in five jaunts. Nick Lovullo laced a double and drew a walk in four excursions. Jeremy Rivera and Jantzen Witte each had a hit and a walk in five forays; Rivera with a double. Austin Rei ripped a single in four attempts. Deiner Lopez looped a single in five ventures. Tate Matheny mangled four terrible trips.

In the top of the sixth, Bowie scored six times on two singles (including a bunt fielded by the catcher Austin Rei), a double, and a homer... while the Sea Dogs contributed a throwing error by Rei on a pick off attempt, a throwing error by Jeremy Rivera on a fielder's choice, and a catch error by Rei on a throw by Jantzen Witte attempting to get the lead runner at home.

Angel Sosa allowed four runs on two hits, two walks, two hit by pitches, and three wild pitches in one frame. Ronald Gutierrez gave up three runs on three hits, four walks, and a wild pitch over 2 2/3 innings; whiffing a trio. Outfielder Lewis Baez was battered for six runs (three earned) on two hits and four walks over his one inning of work; striking out one and uncorking a wild pitch. Starting first baseman Fabian Andrade finished the contest with 2 1/3 surprisingly strong innings, yielding two unearned runs on three hits while striking out a trio.

Gilberto Jimenez singled in his only at-bat before being replaced in the top of the fourth (with the Sox down 9-0) by Ruben Hernandez, who walked once in three tries. Luis Mota lined two singles and earned a free pass in his three matchups after coming in in the fourth for Ceddanne Rafaela, who struck out in the first inning. Erick Flores and Jesus Maita each managed a hit in four excursions; Flores with a double. Fabian Andrade reached twice on a base on balls and a hit by pitch in four appearances. Gamaliel Gonzalez got on via a walk in three tries after replacing Jose Navas who did not reach in his one jaunt. Denny Daza was hit by a pitch amid three hitless ups.
