Bring the effing pain tonight. I wanna see a Draymond Green 1-7 shooting line, and Luke Kornet playing the last 5 minutes.

It's the NBA Finals. It's the Garden.

Just win.

Yes on Green, no on Kornet (goes both ways especially with game 4 on Friday)

But yes it’s the NBA Finals, it’s the Garden.

Today is the 14th anny of the Leon Powe Game. Let tonight be another game dedicated to a non-star. Perhaps Payton Pritchard.

deep inside Guido territory
Take care of the basketball and make GS beat you in the half court. Make them feel you every possession. Make a statement early that this will be a different game than Game 2 was. Do the things that got you to this point and the Warriors should not beat you.

Yep. To me, the series seems to be pretty simple. Limit turnovers and get a neutral whistle. That’s really it.

Only ones that can beat the Celtics are the Celtics.
C’s just need to stay away from dumb turnovers, dumb shots, dumb fouls, and dumb free throw misses.

Robb makes a solid case for more PP time. Our bigs out on the perimeter aren't helping much with rebounding, so I think going "small" is the move.

White would need to play 35-plus minutes in that scenario while Payton Pritchard would get a bump in minutes as well, which may not be a bad thing for this group given his strong individual net rating splits this postseason (+14.7 net rating).

I really wonder if they are going go small, perhaps even to start: Al/Jays/Smart/White with PP, targeted Rob, and some Grant off bench.

Attack on offense, limit the turnovers, and be ourselves on D...they will get a few cute backcuts and Steph will hit threes but if we man up they only have one guy who can beat us one on one even after a switch.

To all those going: you're a part of this, bring the energy from the start and don't let down.

I was in Virginia over the weekend; landed right as G1 was wrapping up. Wore Celtics gear during my time there; got a lot of positive remarks from people, I was pretty surprised. One snot-nosed kid came up to me and tried to fist-bump me and said "Warriors in 6."

Please don't let that kid be right; beat these guys tonight.

How about have bigs play in the middle where they have mismatches all game long against a smaller GS team? I love Al, and even like the occasional 3pter but not trying for 6--you can't rebound from the 3 pt lane

Here
It’s ass humid today, which should favor the young-uns, except for Al, who is known to FUCKING THRIVE in wet air.

Nelly over Taylor/Tyler just might be the upset of the year. That’s a fucking slam dunkeroni.

It's time for the Jayson Tatum breakout 40+ back to back games that show why he's a top 5 player in the league. Give it to us, JT!

Agreed. When they limit turnovers they win. When they don’t, they lose. Take care of the ball and everything else takes care of itself.

Man, I am fucking nervous. Most since 2010 G7.
The title doesn’t get won or lost tonight. Enjoy it! I’m generally a nervous wreck but am surprisingly calm tonight. I think they got this and the crowd will be ready. I just hope we don’t see one of those 20-8 deficit starts.

Other than pairs, very little inventory left on ticketmaster/tm resale for tonight, 2 hours before the game.

I was way more nervous in 2012 Games 6 and 7 in ECF. Obvious series winner would win the whole thing then.

Hope this one ends differently from those 2. No Doc helps.

I’m oddly calm…I firmly believe the Celtics are the better team. Refs will be paying attention to Draymond after the last game…I imagine some home cooking.

I think the Celtics win by double digits

They can't have 2 losses this series at home and expect to win. They can probably afford 1 loss, but that would be playing with fire if that 1 is a game 7 as opposed to game 5.

So... it's time to defend home court. No excuses. Starting tonight.

I don’t even want or expect home cooking. Just that they’ll foul him out by halftime if he comes out playing football again.

I can almost guarantee that things will get ugly if the refs don’t control him tonight. Smart is going to be looking to send the same message that Draymond did in game two.
