For some unknown reason, they have a terrific Cuban sandwich at Guaranteed Rate. I'm going to get one for lunch and maybe stay and watch a few innings of AAA ball.

Attending in person is always a good reason to watch a game. Fenway has a good Cubano, too, at El Tiante’s
Zack Kelly’s first major league start today. Looks like something of a bullpen game today, as the Red Sox gear up to head back to Boston for a stretch against the Phillies and Yankees. Bullpen game maybe makes sense here - I’d expect Kelly, Bernardino, and Slaten to see some action, while giving the starters an extra day heading into this tough stretch of games.

Today is the 37th game since Cooper and Smith were acquired. Smith has started 24 times at first (today is #25), Cooper has 9 starts, Dalbec has 2 and Romy has 1. Was it ever really Cooper's job?
Good thing this is in Chicago, because Red Sox fans shouldn’t have to play MLB prices for a WooSox lineup.
I suspect that many of the off-days he gives to other regulars are with their consent and perhaps at their request. Meanwhile, Duran and Rafaela don't seem to want days off.
I thought the same thing. Due to injuries and lack of talent this is a AAA lineup.
I can get used to Duran standing at 3rd with no outs. What I cannot get used to is Duran standing at 3rd with 3 outs GET THIS RUN IN!!!!

A vacation is often best when there's some change involved. For example, as a denizen of So.FL, I'm generally excited to find a city with a bookstore, a fine-arts museum, public transportation that isn't a bus, and more than two types of weather. And those things that go up and down. . .hills! That's what they're called. Those things are amazing.
