Josh Allen Smith surrendered three hits and a hit by pitch over five scoreless frames; striking out five. Trevor Kelley struck out two over two perfect innings in his PawSox debut. Fernando Rodriguez relinquished one hit and whiffed two in his two frames.

Cole Sturgeon singled twice in three contests and was caught stealing once. Sam Travis thumped a single and a tater in four sessions. Oscar Hernandez hit a single in three opportunities. Mike Olt and Rusney Castillo each chipped in a hit over four matchups; Castillo with a double and a caught stealing. Ivan De Jesus and Mike Ohlman each delivered one walk in four jaunts. Deiner Lopez was unable to reach in three ups. Aneury Tavarez suffered four terrible trips.

Kyle Hart was hit for two runs on eight hits and four walks over 5 2/3 innings; striking out one. Adam Lau let in one run on three hits and two walks over 2 1/3 frames; whiffing a pair. Jordan Weems yielded one unearned run on two hits and three walks (one intentional) over three frames; whiffing one.

Luke Tendler thumped a single and a double and earned an intentional walk over five trips. Jantzen Witte, Jordan Betts, and Danny Mars each mashed two hits in five jaunts; Witte with a homer. Austin Rei ripped a roundtripper in five appearances. Johnny Bladel walked once, was hit once, stole a base, and struck out three times. Jeremy Rivera earned a free pass in five junkets. Chad De La Guerra and Nick Lovullo each suffered five frustrating forays.

Jake Thompson was touched for three unearned runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings; striking out five and uncorking two wild pitches. Jared Oliver obtained the final out in the seventh, but gave up a double beforehand. Hunter Smith surrendered a single in the eighth.

Tyler Hill hit two singles and drew a walk in four trips. Nick Sciortino skipped two singles in four sessions. Brett Netzer, C.J. Chatham, and Michael Osinski each obtained one hit in four at-bats; Osiniski with a stolen base, Chatham with a pair of swipes. Lukas Young got a fly out to the only batter he faced before the rains came and delayed the game for an hour. Devon Fisher was dinged for one run on two hits and a hit by pitch over the final 1 2/3 frames; striking out one and uncorking a wild pitch.

Everlouis Lozada laced a single and a double in four excursions. Pedro Castellanos chipped a single and drew a walk in four contests. Frankie Rios, Zach Sterry, and Tanner Nishioka each notched one hit in four trips; Rios with a double. Kervin Suarez and Isaias Lucena each earned a free pass in four sessions.
