Miguel Suero surrendered two runs on three hits and a plunking in four frames; whiffing a trio. Jeison Pena yielded one walk and one hit by pitch over 3 1/3 innings; striking out a quintet. Luis Colmenares picked up the final two outs of the eighth, one by way of the K. Osvaldo De Los Santos recorded a perfect ninth inning with a pair of strikeouts.

Jesus Maita managed a perfect day with a single, a double, a walk, a hit by pitch, and a sacrifice fly. Gilberto Jimenez was a dinger away from the cycle in his 3-for-6 day. Leonel Jimenez and Luis Mota each lined two hits in five matchups; Mota with a double. Erick Flores flipped a single in two forays before being replaced by Jose Navas who notched a single, a hit by pitch, and a stolen base in three jaunts. Kleiber Rodriguez clubbed a single and a double in four treks. Nelfy Abreu notched a double and a base on balls in five appearances. Oscar Rangel, Gabriel Quintero, and Gabriel Perez each garnered one hit in four opportunities; Quintero with a double, Perez stole a base and was caught stealing. Yulis Hernandez dropped a sacrifice fly and earned a free pass in four ventures. Ronaldo Pulgar procured a walk and a stolen base in four trips to the plate. Gregorio Reyes relinquished one hit in his one-inning professional debut. Rayniel Adames allowed four runs on six hits and a wild pitch over 1 2/3 frames; whiffing one. Robbie Baker relinquished a hit and a walk while striking out one in 2 1/3 innings. Yoan Aybar yielded one hit over two frames; whiffing one and uncorking a wild pitch. Luis Rivero let in two runs on one hit and three walks (two intentional) while picking up two outs in the eighth. Eddy Reynoso faced seven batters and got them all out; striking out a pair.

Juan Carlos Abreu contributed four singles (including the game winner) and a double in six jaunts. Jeccorah Arnold swatted two singles and a double in five appearances. Elih Marrero singled in each of his two excursions after replacing the rehabbing Josh Tobias, who topped a single and took a walk in three trips. Carlos Pulido procured a single and a double in five contests. Jonathan Diaz, Chad Hardy, and Ricardo Cubillan each contributed a hit and a base on balls in five junkets; Hardy with a game-tying, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth. Brandon Howlett hit a double in five at-bats. Juan Hernandez was unable to reach in two ups before being replaced by Caleb Ramsey who suffered four more excruciating excursions – but was the ghost runner who scored the winning run.

Ramsey is now 1-for-27 (with 10 walks) in his professional career (.037/.297/.037).

Chandler Shepherd surrendered four runs on four hits – including a Rio Ruiz round tripper – and three walks over five frames; whiffing one. Josh Allen Smith tossed three scoreless frames on four singles (and two double plays) before giving up a walk, a double, an intentional walk, and the game-winning single in the ninth. Smith struck out a pair.

Rusney Castillo contributed three singles and was caught stealing in four contests. Ivan De Jesus delivered two singles and was hit by a pitch in four jaunts; he was picked off once. Kyle Wren ripped a single and a sacrifice fly while earned a walk in four treks. Sam Travis and Mike Miller each managed a single in four matchups; Miller adding a stolen base.
