Eddie Jimenez yielded two runs on two hits, two walks, and a wild pitch over 2 1/3 innings; striking out three. Robbie Baker – a UDFA from the Richmond Spiders – uncorked a wild pitch and struck out two in his 1 2/3 scoreless debut. Kris Jackson yielded two hits and whiffed a pair in the ninth.

Ricardo Cubillan clubbed a single, dropped a sacrifice bunt, and added two walks in five contests. Brandon Howlett hit a single and took two base on balls in four appearances. Juan Carlos Abreu and Freiberg Marin each mashed a single and earned a free pass in four forays; Abreu was caught stealing. Jalen Beeks yielded three runs on five hits – including blasts from Kennys Vargas and Cameron Rupp – over 5 1/3 innings; striking out eight. Fernando Rodriguez relinquished two runs on a hit and two walks over 2 2/3 innings; whiffing a trio. Ryan Brasier tossed a 1-2-3 ninth for the save, two outs coming by way of the K.

Mike Miller mashed a single and a two-run tater in four matchups. Tzu-Wei Lin lined two singles – including the game winning two-RBI one in the ninth – in five trips. Aneury Tavarez and Cole Sturgeon each collected a single and a walk in four sessions. Dan Butler blooped a single in three at-bats before being pinch hit for by Rusney Castillo in the ninth; Castillo ripped a two-RBI double.
