How much $$$ did he just cost his foundation with his last 20 seconds?
No need, really. He's spazzing out trying to hit 5-run HR's every swing. Now, we might need to start the "how do we get Raffi to chill the fuck out" thread.
In fairness, the booth tried to circle it back to the troops...but damn, that was awkward AF.
I mean, it was 44 fucking years ago. Let's talk about David Ortiz, Mark Bellhorn, Pedro Martinez, and the historic 0-3 ALCS comeback. Why dwell on a regular season game from 1978? Recent history favors Boston in a big, big fucking way... as recently as 10 fucking months ago. Deal with it, Fox.
FOX only wants to talk about positives for the Yankees. The fact that they choked harder than any team in baseball history doesn't get brought up.
I always laugh whenever national broadcasters can't wait to mention 1978/the payoff game, as if nothing has happened since then. As if the MFY didn't lose a series they were up 3-0, or that the Sox have 4 WS titles, or even that the Red Sox have won every playoff series against the MFY since after 2003, including a one game payoff just last year.

The latter. The charity guy ran out of things to say about the charity and the announcers laid out a little too long, so he kept talking about how people need to support law enforcement and blah blah blah.
When Raffy is hotter than a pistol he can hit anything. But when he's struggling he should really make more of an effore to lay off the non strike swings. He could at least be walking a bit. Pitchers don't like throwing him good stuff.
McGuire seems to use the classic crouch, moving before the pitch, instead of the one knee down stance Vaz uses. I like it.
You could almost hear them mute his mic, put the muzzle on him, and drag him away before he said "all lives matter."
GREAT start from Crawford, IKF HR1 notwithstanding. This is a good offense, and he kept a lid on them through six.
It's particularly preposterous when you stop to think that this would be like an announcer in the 1978 game bringing up something from a game in 1934.
The MFY's have to be the ugliest team in baseball. It's like a team of Johnny Dickshots out there.
