I am sitting behind Mike Shawaryn's family, or at least a group of people who were extremely excited when he came in to get a K with the bases loaded, 2 out in the 6th.

Justin Haley yielded one run on a Jason Coats jack, three singles, and a walk over 5 2/3 frames; punching out an octet. Mike Shawaryn came out of the pen for the first time in his professional career, going the final 3 1/3 innings in scoreless fashion; walking two and striking out a quintet.

Mike Miller managed two singles in three matchups. Rusney Castillo collected a single and a walk in four contests. Josh Ockimey obtained a single in three opportunities. Dan Butler and Aneury Tavarez each had three terrible trips; Tavarez with three Ks. Tzu-Wei Lin, Tony Renda, Sam Travis, and Ivan De Jesus each had a quartet of quizzical quests.

Trey Ball yielded three runs on five hits and two walks over two innings; striking out one. Harrison Cooney walked a pair and punched out two over the final two innings.

Chad De La Guerra, Michael Chavis, Bobby Dalbec, and Luke Tendler each collected one hit in four at-bats; Tendler and De La Guerra with doubles. Danny Mars walked once in three matchups. Johnny Bladel, Austin Rei and Deiner Lopez each had a trio of disappointing dances. Chris Madera had a quartet of contemptible contests.

Algenis Martinez pitched the final 2 1/3 frames; allowing one hit and whiffing two.

Nick Lovullo laced two singles in three matchups. Victor Acosta hit a single and a double in four ventures. Michael Osinski managed a single and a sacrifice bunt in four opportunities. Tyler Hill hammered a double and drew a walk in four trips. Brett Netzer and Ryan Scott notched a base on balls in four sessions.
