Our 18 are better than their 17.

If we can neutralize Hedman, good things will come.

Good win.

Big win last night to get this party started. The Broons have 2 lines worth of forwards that are really firing right now--Bergy, Marshmont, Pasta, Krejci, Coyle, Kase, and JDB are all playing at a real high level. The other guys, not so much. The D is also playing extremely well as a unit, Clifton's offense has been very fun to watch. Halak was very good. Seems kinda funny that TB felt the need to generate some chippiness in the 3rd to get on their game--certainly a role reversal from years past.

Vasilevsky made some insane saves, but unless he stands on his head and steals a couple of games, the Broons should be in good shape.

What happened to McDonagh? I didn't see it.
I didn't either. Sportsnet tweeted that he left the game midway through the 3rd period and never returned. I did not see him out on the ice for the last 7-8 minutes either. Wonder if he blocked a shot and it hit an unpadded area or something. He had been averaging a ton of ice time this postseason so if he can't play that would obviously be huge.

Clifton's pretty aggressive, but he competes every second he's out there. Would like to see him and Studnicka be regulars going forward (but I imagine they'll keep Ritchie in there for the duration of this series due to his size/toughness, so it'll have to be Bjork who sits if Studnicka's to play).
