PawSox survive Cozen's cuadrangulars, 5-3.

Mike Shawaryn was spectacular in his six inning appearance, allowing two runs on two walks and Dylan Cozen two-run bomb; whiffing a quartet. Matt Gorst gave up a second Dylan Cozen shot as well as a single and a hit by pitch while getting two outs in the seventh. Josh Dwayne Smith surrendered a single, hit a batter, and struck out one over 1 1/3 innings. Robby Scott secured the save in the ninth, relinquishing a single and a walk and punching out one.

Dan Butler bopped three hits – including his sixth homer – in four at-bats. Christian Vazquez singled twice in four contests as the DH. Rafael Devers delivered a double in three dances before being replaced by Mike Miller who was unable to reach in his up. Tony Renda and Josh Ockimey each reached on a hit and a walk in four opportunities; Renda with a double. Brandon Phillips and Rusney Castillo each procured a double in four battles. Tzu-Wei Lin lined a double in five trips. Aneury Tavarez suffered a quartet of abysmal appearances.

Matt Kent was knocked for seven runs on a dozen hits – including dingers from Max Pentecost and old friend Santiago Espinal (his first in AA) – over five frames; Kent whiffed three and still was credited with his 12th victory. Jake Cosart yielded a hit and a walk over two scoreless; punching out a trio. Trevor Kelley was tipped for two runs on two hits, three walks, and a wild pitch in the eighth (and one batter in the ninth). Josh Taylor shut down New Hampshire by getting three quick outs in the ninth; one by way of the K.

Jeremy Rivera and Esteban Quiroz each ripped a trio of singles in five quests. Chad De La Guerra golfed a single and a homer and was plunked by a pitch in five contests. Jantzen Witte whipped two singles and drew a walk in five jaunts. Luke Tendler thumped a single and a tater in four trips before being replaced by Chris Madera who was unable to reach in his one up. Tate Matheny managed a double and a sacrifice bunt in four matchups. Jhon Nunez notched a single and a base on balls in four junkets. Danny Mars drew a base on balls and flipped a sacrifice fly in four dances. Bobby Dalbec bombed out in five battles.

Michael Osinski mashed a double and two singles in five opportunities. Jagger Rusconi, Josh Tobias, and C.J. Chatham each contributed a pair of hits in five jaunts; Chatham with one double, Rusconi with two. Jerry Downs delivered a dinger and two walks in five junkets.
