It wasn’t that long ago that people wanted him playing over Vaz.
His offense completely falling off the face of the earth is one of odder stories of the year. He was a perfectly solid backup catcher in 20 and 21 because he hit about league average, this year he's hitting like JBJ without the defense.

Bogie. Followed him since he was a kid. Love him. But I see no indication from the FO despite what Bloom said at the deadline that he will be back.

He’s a backup catcher who gets what, 100-150 at bats a year? Difference between a good and bad year is a handful of hits

Interesting that the Sox seem to think Duran is handling his jumps much better lately. From TV that hasn't shown up at all, but we also only see select times in game. If true that would be a very nice improvement for the future.

Backup catchers are like relief pitchers. The sample sizes are tiny.
