Not really watching yet, but NY has a long streak of winning series in SEA, I think 11 years in a row, which is on the line in this one.

I know the Mariners pen is tired, but man, it was so obvious that Ray was running out of gas, and then during the Higgy AB the gauge went to E.

They weren't quite as good as they looked early and they aren't quite as bad as they look now. This will pass. Just gotta keep grinding.

Joey Gallo with a pinch-hit three run HR for the Dodgers just now, equalling NY’s output the last two games (68 ABs) with one swing. The pitcher (Beeter) NY got for him was great in his AA debut today (3 0 0 0 1 6 on 37 pitches) at least, he is already in NY’s top handful of pitching prospects.

I don't think we suck, I just think that the red hot start papered over some issues and gave guys longer leashes then maybe they deserved (IKF, Higgy, Gallo, etc.).

Also, I think it was a pretty big mistake to go on that last roadtrip without putting Rizzo on the IL. Absolutely could have used another bat off the bench in the entire Seattle series.

Well, that bat would have presumably been Miguel Andujar, who did not impress in his two games in SEA. Also this would have meant no Rizzo this weekend in BOS, we'll see how that goes.
