Sometimes things don't look like how you would think they would look like when a guy scores from second on a single...Dalbec RBI single to find Worcester a 10-9 lead.
God, if he could have something even resembling a league average OBP he would be a terror. Sadly, I'm just not sure that's in the cards.Sometimes things don't look like how you would think they would look like when a guy scores from second on a single...

He's a bit 1-dimensional & mostly seems to do all his damage against breaking balls, but he should 100% be ahead of Walter, & probably should be ahead of Hickey, Enmanuel & I think I have him ahead of Meidroth.Blaze now .304/.376/.739 for August and even without that, how is it that a 20 year old who raked in high A en route to an AA promotion is all the way down to #19 on the Sox Prospect list?
Not sure which is more problematic... the OBP or the defense.God, if he could have something even resembling a league average OBP he would be a terror. Sadly, I'm just not sure that's in the cards.
I know, right? “He can’t hit pitching above A+, we have to trade him now!!!” Like how the fuck do you know that? His batted ball profiles are fucking obscene for a barely 19 year old at that level.I have been "enjoying" all the conversations about how we need to trade him ASAP on the main board.
Bob Kraft’s masseuse begs to differ.Yup. It can be hit hard, but you don't slap & pull at the same time.
I assume that you are responding to my post, which I left alone in the other thread. I never said he couldn’t hit in A+ or that they should trade him. I was merely responding to the several posts penciling him into the MLB outfield in 2025. I found those posts to be a little premature. When (hopefully) he starts crushing AA pitching next year, then projecting a spot for him on the MLB roster a couple seasons out may be something to plan for. That’s all I was saying.I know, right? “He can’t hit pitching above A+, we have to trade him now!!!” Like how the fuck do you know that?
