9/20 Pats at Seattle

Let’s get real folks, Seattle had two miracle bomb catches and the Patriots stalled in the red zone twice. D has not been great, SEA is good and Wilson is on fire, but this was not a bad performance for the Patriots. SEA will be there in the end in the NFC and the Patriots could have easily won this game if they had gotten a couple of breaks.
And if their defense keeps getting injured they're going to have trouble fielding a team at some point.

Yep. Much better Pats teams have lost to much worse teams in the first four weeks of seasons past, so even putting aside the fact that this is a bridge year I can’t get too worked up about this one.

WR, RB, and front 7 are all bigger problems than I thought. Cam and the offensive line are both very promising. Here's hoping Damien Harris and some timely rookie TE development mitigate the first two issues. There was definitely a universe where this game could have been an absolute blowout and it being an actual game in the 4th counts for something to me.

Unless Metcalf gets popped for PEDs in the next few years I really don’t get taking Harry over him.
Metcalf was a big question mark and went 64 despite his size and straight line speed. He couldn’t stay on the field in college, wasn’t that productive in college, He had terrible shuttle runs and a bad wonderlich. Basically the opposite of pats receivers. He obviously has turned out great but I’m not sure he does anywhere nearly as well if he’s not with a guy like Wilson who’s just lofting perfect deep balls

Cam has looked very poised and confident in the pocket. Love his movement in the pocket, ability to create more time, and obviously running ability. He has looked much better than I expected him to. . . .

Theyre not great at RB but having Cam mitigates that somewhat. Agree about WR but Byrd has shown some promise tonight at least.
