How long will these morons make everyone wait to resume this game? If it's midnight and the fans have gone home, send in a position player to pitch to Judge so the record will be tainted (LOL).

Somehow it seems appropriate that this years Red Sox team was eliminated with a whimper by a game cut short by rain in the Bidet. At least they weren't no hit.
As much as I hate getting swept by the Yankees, I am so happy we didn't give up the home run to Judge. Though it would have been funny if the game resumed around midnight and Judge got the homer with no one watching.
Not only did the Sox not give up the HR to Judge, he isn’t likely to get it in the toilet. I call that a Win Win
Not to be a downer, but the Sox got swept here and less than a year after beating the Yankees in the playoffs (in dominating fashion no less), are 22 games worse than them, and 7 games worse than the fourth best team in the division. Hasn’t exactly been a banner year. Hopefully the Yankees win as many playoff games this year as the Sox do.
(Granted it’s not all bad, Bello keeps getting better and Casas is as impressive as you can get for a guy hitting .125, and I actually mean that sincerely).

Yeah, but doesn’t that just show that things can improve again just as quickly as they fell apart? Red Sox rolled NY and TB in the playoffs last year, then played horrendous in the division this year. No reason to think it can’t swing back in their favor a year from now.

I mean, this is the best making lemonade out of lemons for this series I guess. Not only did Judge not get to hit it at home but the MFY fans had to sit around in the rain for an hour or so waiting for the game to be called. I'm sure a much larger percentage hung around hoping to see Judge hit again.
I'm hoping he hits two in the Toronto series before they come back home. Yes I'm petty and any Yankee fan tears are good tears.

Definitely agreed. The losses are academic at this point. Staving off the big Judgement Day celebration is priceless.
It's just exhibition games from here on out. Sweeping the Yankees in September is the thing I'll remember about this season.
