So far Devers is 1/2 with a sharp single to left. More importantly, my six year old got to ride around the warning track with Paws, and then deliver the game ball to the mound.

Mike Sharwaryn surrendered two runs on six hits – including a Wilkin Castillo cuadrangular – over 5 2/3 frames; whiffing a quintet. Jordan Weems yielded a run on two walks and a hit before recording the final out of the sixth in his AAA debut. Trevor Kelley allowed a hit and a wild pitch over two innings; striking out a pair. Matt Gorst gave up two runs on two hits – including an L.J. Mazzilli long ball – and a walk in the ninth; punching out one.

Rafael Devers delivered two singles in four dalliances. Dan Butler blooped a single in three battles before giving way to Mike Ohlman who grounded out in the ninth. Aneury Tavarez thumped a single in four trips. Cole Sturgeon secured a walk in three sessions. Tony Renda and Josh Ockimey each reached on a base on balls in four opportunities. Kyle Wren, Michael Miller, and Michael Chavis each mangled a quartet of matchups.

Matt Kent was knocked for five runs (four earned) on nine hits – including a thump from Will Toffee – over seven innings; striking out six. Darwinzon Hernandez was dinged for one hit and whiffed a pair in the eighth. Jake Cosart yielded two unearned runs on two hits, two walks, and a wild pitch in three frames; punching out four.

Bobby Dalbec and Jordan Betts each bopped a pair of hits in five battles; Betts with a 2-run bomb in the fourth and a 3-run blast in the fifth. Esteban Quiroz struck a single, was struck by a pitch, and walked twice in five quests. Johnny Bladel blooped a single, earned a base on balls, and was caught stealing in five jaunts. Luke Tendler, Austin Rei, and Deiner Lopez each laced a hit in five trips; Lopez with a two-run tater in the 11th. Chris Madera managed a single and a stolen base in six sessions. Trey Ball struck out four times in his five frustrating forays.

Kutter Crawford was charged with one run on one hit, two hit by pitches, and five bases on balls in 4 1/3 frames; whiffing five. Joan Martinez yielded two hits in 2 2/3 innings. Kevin McAvoy was knocked for two runs on two walks, two plunkings, one hit, and one wild pitch while picking up two outs in the eighth. Yankory Pimentel got the final out of the eighth without issue. Durbin Feltman struck out one in a 1-2-3 ninth.

Carlos Tovar, Jerry Downs, and Michael Osinski each obtained two singles in four trips. Tyler Hill hit a single and drew a walk in four treks; he was also picked off then caught stealing. C.J. Chatham and Josh Tobias each contributed a single in four jaunts. Jake Romanski was hit by a pitch in four junkets. Ryan Scott and Jagger Rusconi each had a trio of subpar sessions.

Marcos Lantigua let in three runs on four hits, two plunks, and a wild pitch in 1 1/3 innings; striking out a pair. Dominic LoBrutto allowed one hit and one walk while picking up five outs; two by way of the K. Devon Fisher whiffed one of the three batters he retired in the ninth.

Zach Sterry and Jarren Duran each delivered two hits and a walk in four sessions; Sterry with a zinger over the wall, Duran with a stolen base and a caught stealing. Kervin Suarez swatted a pair of doubles in four sessions. Ryan Fitzgerald flipped a double and drew a walk in four forays. Tanner Nishioka notched a single in four treks. Logan Browning let in two runs on a walk and three hits – including a Kingston Liniak long ball – over 1 2/3 innings; striking out four. Kris Jackson pitched the final 2 2/3 frames in scoreless fashion; punching out a quartet.

Tyler Esplin and Trey Ganns each garnered two hits and two walks in five excursions; Ganns with a double. Dylan Hardy hit a double and drew a walk in four forays. Alan Marrero mashed a double and was hit by a pitch in five matchups. Korby Batesole blooped a single and earned a free pass in five treks. Juan Carlos Abreu ended the game with a single in the 10th; his only hit in five contests.
