In 24 years of rankings, there obviously were 2400 players ranked; however, since some players were ranked in more than one year, there were only 1363 different players (after determining players with same names). There have been 16 players who were ranked in the Top-100 in 5 different seasons (2 haven't made the majors); 88 ranked in 4 seasons (3 haven't made the majors); 154 ranked in 3 seasons (9 haven't made the majors); 401 ranked twice (38 haven't made the majors); 704 ranked once (150 haven't the majors).

The first table shows the number of ranked players who did make it to the major leagues, even if just for the proverbial "cup of coffee."
Because this study goes through 2013, some of the ranked players have not yet had the chance to make it to the major leagues.

Part 2

The following tables break down the number of rankings by team and by year. The Atlanta Braves have far and away the highest total of ranked players making it to the major leagues while the Tigers are at the bottom of the clubs that drafted in each of the years in this study. Because of limitations imposed by the board structure, this table is in three roughly equal parts, sorted from highest to lowest (except that Washington is placed right after Montreal).

Part 5

This chart shows the number of players for a given Top-100 ranking who have appeared in the majors. The linear trendline was added just to give an approximation of the decrease in appearances as the ranking decreased.

Unfortunately, my source for this data only gives wins, losses, ERA, games for pitchers and AVG. OBP, SLG, games for hitters, so it is hard to evaluate each teams draft (i.e., I don't feel like clicking through nearly 1400 players to get their respective WAR). If I come up with some reasonable method of ranking, I will follow up with that.
