Agreed. But that's the only type of crazy I've dated, so that's the only realm I could comment on.
Brown has been accused of rape and sexual assault as well as harassing and threatening his victims. Tell me more about these crazy women you’ve dated.

He won’t be joining the WWE until he’s played two games for each CFL team next year.

I hope he has a gimmick where he tries to smash his cell over opponents’ heads, but ends up knocking himself out with it.

Backtracking (again) for obvious reasons:

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/11/07/antonio-brown-changes-his-tune-again/
I am unqualified to attribute the increased craziness to any cause, so I won’t. But crazy it is. One of the cruel twists in this saga is that AB manifests it only in his off field dealings; in practice and on the field he remains flawless.

Maybe the key was that video of his phone call to grandma.

AB can't serve a suspension without being on some team's roster, yes? Otherwise, he just might demand a (4-game?) suspension immediately when he meets with the NFL next week.

I don't think he can serve a suspension but I think he can be given a suspension that would take effect if and when he signs.

This may very well the best case for AB at this point. Right now, the threat of the exempt list is what's likely making him not signable. (Well, other than all the other reasons teams might be reluctant to sign him.) Right now, any team that might want him is looking at the possibility of having to pay him for nothing while he can't play, and is subject to suspension.

It seems to me -- though recognizing Brown is a jerk and doesn't deserve sympathy -- that the use of the threat of the exempt list in this manner by the NFL for an unlimited amount of time would be unfair and eventually get the NFLPA involved. You could essentially make a guy not signable in perpetuity just with the threat of the exempt list.

A maximum suspension under the PCP is 6 weeks, I believe. So, I think AB is well within his rights to say, "here I am, finish your investigation," or even to send the signal that he'll agree to a six game suspension (not sure if that might affect his civil case though). At that point, he can shop himself to teams more effectively than he can now. A team might very well be more willing to sign him in 2020 if they know they'll get him by week 7.

Not sure if serious, but I'm with those who say that the crazier he gets, the better Tomlin looks for keeping him a productive and relatively quiet contributor for so long.
Agreed. This guy is completely bonkers, and they got great production out of him for a long time.

I said this at the beginning , during the euphoria that the Pats were going to be historically good on O, and how Steelers' fans could suck it.

As a coach I have been on both sides of this. I have taken guys that were kicked off other teams, or huge problems and connected with them to the point they were stars for me. I have also done everything I could think of to make it work and seen the guy go somewhere else and come back and beat me. One guy still hates me years later, and I for the world, can't think of what I could have done differently. The tough thing is as a coach working it out with a guy, and conversely getting rid of a guy can both define a season, and your position as a coach.

Let's hope this means that AB has given his twitter password to his social media manager and he or she has changed it.

Just to be safe, should include all other social media and probably his phone itself, too. Have a phone lackey who screens your calls and hands it to you.

Likely written and encouraged by Drew Rosenhaus but at any rate, doesn't this - when combined with him finally meeting with the NFL a few days ago - revive a slim possibility of him ending up back with the Pats this year?

More likely next ... after a 4-6 game suspension

Just for the hell of it--is it worth the 1 in a million shot the NFL doesn't place him on the exempt list or, if they do, he's off it by postseason?

Brady is like Kraft's kid--get him an early XMas present!!!

The apology didn't work with my ex-girlfriend and I don't think it will work here either

Coming after Brady's frustrated post-game press conference, I think AB's troll game is on point.

Hearing a rumbling that there is something in the works to bring him back if he agrees to delete all his social media?

But not from anything close to a reliable source...just general chatter. Anyone else hearing this?

No, but Zolak is on air today saying there's some unusual buzz going on in Foxboro today.

If they "bring him back," he's getting suspended
I'm curious if there is any way for a team to contact the NFL and unofficially ask "what are we looking at if we pick him up?" Of course, knowing the NFL, the conversation would happen via text message.

Maybe the Garrett brawl provides some cover to sneak him back unsuspended? Or only out for a couple games?

If wants to come back, don't all of his issues from before get put back on the table for an NFL disciplinary review? What are the odds he plays a meaningful down this season if he's brought back and then subject to disciplinary review?

The Patriots would have to have had some kind of conversation with the league about is playing eligibility prior to venturing down this road, if any of this is real.

Feels like the day there were the Gronk trade rumors a few seasons ago. Wasn’t Zo doing the “buzz” thing then too?

Didn't he meet with the league last week? If so, the Patriots may have an indication if any discipline is coming down the pipe. I wouldn't think they'd sign him if he's just going to be serving a suspension.

He was with the NFL for more than eight hours. He and his people must have a feel for how that went.

For whatever it is worth (not much)... I heard that AB did well and represented himself very well in that meeting with the league. Pretty sure I heard that on Dan Patrick's radio show last week.
